#Thailand#Yala#Than To#Attraction Hala Forest and Bala Forest are located in Cha nae Subdistrict, Waeng Subdistrict, Mae Dong Subdistrict, Lo Jud Subdistrict, Waeng District, Ma Mong Subdistrict, Phu Khao Thong Subdistrict, Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province and Ayer Weng Subdistrict, Betong District, Yala Province, an area of approximately 433.16 square kilometers, with steep mountain terrain interspersed with fertile moist evergreen forests. There are many rivers and streams that are abundantly preserved and protect important species of important wildlife. Therefore, in order to maintain the species of wildlife and to be a safe habitat for wildlife, as well as to help prevent and maintain the watersheds and forests that exist in this area from remaining permanent forever, it is appropriate to define the area as a protected area. This forest land is designated as a wildlife sanctuary under the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act of the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act of 1992. Therefore, it is necessary to enact this decree specifying the Hala and Bala forest land in the Sub-District area. Cha nae District and Ayer Weng Sub-district, Betong District, Yala Province as a wildlife sanctuary B.E. 2539 (1996), announced on September 13, 1996.
